Well it's about 11:20pm and i'm up writing this even though I have school in the morning, but anyway. A few minutes earlier I was looking around google for random photography and what i got was this.
If you have a look at the images above you'll see some of the most disturbing images.
I know i should probably put this under mature content, but I'm not going to.
All you see in front of you are numerous children, born with and dying of deformities due to the amount of uranium that's been destroying Iraq since the gulf war (and considering the current war in Iraq, that wont be helping).
It's not like me to be political but when i believe in something, that's all there is.

now you may have noticed a girl in the collage who looks perfectly healthy. This girl was (I believe) born with leukemia which then spread to her bones.
If you were diagnosed with such a disease you would be treated (and by all means, you should be), on the other hand, she wasn't so lucky. Are you any better than her? Do you deserve special treatment?
So why is it that you do?
According to Mr. Bush, the children there are taken care of and fed. Well, if that's the case it cant be costing him much seeing as so many of them are dying anyway.

Whilst these children are born with these diseases that cannot (or can, but wont) be treated, he rocks up to Sydney with hundreds (no, seriously, hundreds) of body guards and security and an ambulance (or something) following him with his blood type ready in case he gets hurt. Not to mention turning the city into a cage with 3 m gates up and a water pump that cost over a cool mil whilst we're following water restrictions'cause of the severe droughts we've been experiencing for the past few years.

We're not allowed to look outside our balconies at him, police have been given the right to shoot to kill and past protestors have been arrested until he leaves so they dont get the chance (hm..last time i checked, we had rights).

Enough about him though, back to the point. When I saw these images i was close to tears. I'm not that sensitive, especially when it comes to images such as these, i see it in the news all the time and by now it's stopped having a great effect on me, but this was overwhelming.

I had no idea things were that bad and just today my business teacher was telling us how we have a blindfold over our eyes. As much as i denied it, I'm starting to see his point.

Anyway, to finish this off. If these images dont tug on your heart strings, then i dont, and never will understand you.
