1 Corinthians 6:5 (New Testament)-(English Standard Version)
So, it is not only in the Old Testament where they say homosexuality is wrong. I understand that some of the stuff in the Bible may seem "out dated". People definitely tend to pick and choose what they advocate for in the Bible. I myself believe homosexuality is not right in the eyes of the Lord. But I am not one to judge anyone. I have not lived a perfect life. I can only regurgitate what the Lord has said through His Word. None of us alive today where there when He was, we only (as Christians) have His word to go off of. My point? Sure, people do judge, hate, start wars, etc. in the name of Jesus. But if someone is simply pointing out that one is mislead? There is nothing wrong in that. If the discussion is brought up properly and not in a accusatory tone... Take from this what you will.
I know Christians are meant to have faith but when this faith leads to you judging people then it has over stepped a line has it not?
In a perfect world i would hope people would judge based on facts not faith.
I hope you dont find this to be offensive im just putting my point of view across :3
The old testament said for a man to lie with a man is an abomination but then so is eating shell fish(crab.lobster..etc) or wearing more then one kind of cloth. People who have flat noses, or are blind or lame, cannot go to an altar of God (Leviticus 21:17-18) You'll notice the right wing Christians never adhere to these "laws" because there "outdated" Well then everything in Leviticus is outdated.. you cant pick and choose which ones you want to use.
I am a believer in Yeshua (Jesus) and I know he came here for everyone. It doesn't take a Bible scholar to figure out he disliked and chastised the Pharisee and hypocrites more then anyone. I also believe in the Trinity and think the Holy Spirit represents the female aspect of spirituality. Although thats just my opinion.
That last word could be changed on your "stamp" maybe use like "cow poop"
One last thing- People who think that sitting in church every Sunday makes them a Christian, must also believe that sitting in a garage makes you a car..
